Inn at Kristofers  features water-view upscale gourmet dining across from the marina in Sister Bay. Cooking classes year round. Advance reservations highly suggested.

T. Ashwells  features upscale gourmet dining in a elegant bistro-type atmosphere. Advance reservations highly suggested.

Mission Grille  Gourmet dining in a former church building provides unique atmosphere. Outdoor dining available for lunch and dinner.

White Gull Inn  Open all year. Breakfast, lunch, candle-light dinners and fish boils. Advance reservations highly suggested for dinners and fish boils.

Sister Bay Café  American cuisine with a Norwegian flare in downtown Sister Bay.

Viking Grill   Home of the Viking Fish Boil, also casual dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The Shoreline Restaurant  Casual dining with a water-view at the tip of the peninsula.

Top Shelf Café and Gourmet  Wonderful gourmet and specialty food shop. Can prepare and deliver goody baskets to the resort.

Alexander’s Restaurant  Hwy 42, north of Fish Creek. Features upscale dining and full bar with Sunday brunch. Open year round; check web site for winter hours.

Waterfront Restaurant  features waterfront gourmet dining and full bar only feet from the waters of Green Bay at the north end of Sister Bay. Advance reservations highly suggested.

Mink River Basin  A traditional Wisconsin “Supper Club” with good food at reasonable prices. Features a soup & salad bar. Located 4 miles north in Ellison Bay.

Door County Bakery  Featuring European style Stone Oven Breads and pastries. The store also carries a selection of wines, pates, cheeses, pasta, oils, vinegars and condiments. Includes a small dining area serving freshly brewed specialty coffees and teas as well as homemade soups and sandwiches. Located just south of Sister Bay on Hwy 57.

The English Inn  Hwy 42, north of Fish Creek. “Maintaining Olde World Class with traditional supper club portions.” Full bar. Donnie Ray on keyboards, 7PM - midnight on Friday & Saturday. Open year round.

Door County Calendar of Events  provides a complete lisintg of events throughout the year in Door County.

Peninsula Arts and Humanities Alliance  Provides links to sites for the visual and performing arts in Door County including more than 30 galleries and a number of theatres, festivals and museums including Peninsula Players (which also has it’s own listing among our links) and features a great outdoor “Biergarten” with a water and sunset view, American Folklore Theatre (which also has its own listing among our links) and is the outdoor theatre in Peninsula State Park, Door Shakespeare at Bjorklunden, Baileys Harbor, Birch Creek Music Performance Center on Cty Hwy A between Egg harbor and Peninsula Center and the Peninsula Music Festival at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek.

Sister Bay Concerts in the Park  feature a variety of musical entertainment performed in the village park in downtown Sister Bay. Wednesdays at 3pm, mid-June through mid-August.

Door County Auditorium  located in Fish Creek features a variety of performances throughout the year.

Door County Lighthouses  provided important navigational aid when Green Bay was a valuable port in Great Lakes shipping during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Door County has 9 lighthouses. Take a lighthouse tour in mid May during the annual Lighthouse Walk. Check web site for details.

Stone’s Throw Winery  Wine tastings, tours and retail sales. Located at Peninsula Center, County highways A & E.

Door Peninsula Winery  Wine tastings, tours, retail sales and Vineyard Restaurant. Located on Hwy 42 at Carlsville.

Orchard Country Winery  Wine tastings, tours, retail sales, Door County trolley tours (June-Oct.) and horse-drawn sleigh rides (weather permitting). Located on Hwy 42 south of Fish Creek.

Simon Creek Vineyard & Winery  Wine tastings, tour, retail sales and 30 acre vineyard. Located 3 miles east of Carlsville off County Hwy I on Bochek Rd.

Door County Plein Air Festival  The Peninsula Art School hosts the Door County Plein Air Festival July 20 - August 2, 2008 which celebrates the tradition of outdoor painting with some of the finest painters from Door County and across the country. Last year 38 artists took brush to canvas, capturing the summer light over the waters and fields of Door County. Check website for details.

Lori’s Spa Essence  Enjoy a massage or other spa treatments at this newly constructed spa, located in the woods, in Fish Creek. It’s where “Nature Meets Luxury”.

Door County Trolley  “Old Time” trolley tours operate daily, June through October, starting at the Orchard Country Winery located one-half mile south of Fish Creek on Hwy 42. Their heated trolleys also operate on Saturdays, December through March, featuring “Winter Wonderland Tours” and “Progressive Dinner Outings”. They also have special outings and tours throughout the year. Call 920-868-1100 for details/reservations.

Peninsula Players  America’s oldest Professional Resident Summer Theatre, since 1935, set on the shores of the bay of Green Bay, the “theatre in the garden”. The Players have built a new $7,000,000 back stage and pavilion which opened for the 2006 season. If you purchase a Country House Theatre Package it will include 2 orchestra tickets in the new theatre plus a gourmet box of hors d’oeuvres, sandwiches and dessert to enjoy before the play while watching the sunset. Please note the new theatre has heated floors to keep you comfortable throughout the season. Check their web site for plays, times, and dates.

American Folklore Theatre  Original plays about American/Wisconsin folk culture by professional actors under the stars at Peninsula State Park. “Humble, yet polished...historical yet hysterical“ that’s AFT. If you purchase a Country House Theatre Package, June 20 - Oct. 15, it will include 2 somewhat reserved tickets plus dinner for two with a 1/2 carafe of wine. Check their web site for plays, times and dates.

Shopping

Country Walk Shops  A complex of shops located approximately 1/2 mile from the resort, easy walking distance.

Sister Bay Trading Company  A unique shop of furniture and home decor items featuring a "northwoods" flavor.

Tannenbaum Holiday Shop  Located on the north edge of Sister Bay and housed in a former church buiding, this shop features collectible figurines and decorations for holidays throughout the year.

RENARD’S CHEESE  Door County’s only cheese factory with two retail stores. The factory and store are located on County Highway S, south of Sturgeon Bay, going towards Algoma. The other retail store is on Hwy 57, also south of Sturgeon Bay.

Hide Side Corner Store  Known for unique quality leather garments & accessories and fine art. Located in the heart of Fish Creek. The Surges family also have an excellent on-line store.
